We have discussed many aspects of resumes, as well as what will add density to your resume. Furthermore, I would like to inform you that there are some resume mistakes that you should correct.
1. Photo:-
According to the recruiters, including a photo is naive and unprofessional. The photo serves no purpose other than to make the draught bulky, causing problems with opening and downloading.
2. Marks That Are Average Or Poor:-
What will low grades do to your resume? Poor grades speak volumes about you and paint a negative picture of your profile. Poor/average will not provide you with any good opportunities and will only cause you problems.
3. A Series Of Short-Term Jobs:-
Mention 2-3 Organisations' names and durations with a designation in the employment scan, but only highlight the current 2-3 organisations in detail. Because recruiters aren't interested in going through short-term and past associations.
4. Passive Communication:-
A resume should never communicate in the passive voice because it casts the entire content in doubt. In the key roles and responsibilities, active action verbs should be used.
5. Useless Abilities:-
Useless skills will not add value to your resume, so including them all will only increase the number of pages.
6. More Than Two Pages:-
If your curriculum vitae is lengthy, there is a risk that it will be ignored by recruiters, as lengthy resumes are more likely to be discarded.
A curriculum vitae is a key to interview so, prepare with regards to these aforementioned rules & norms. You'll end up in a good organisation and leave a lasting impression.
