1. Money-Oriented Career:
Money, money, money, honey! Short-term earnings and long-term issues. Freshers work in BPOs to make quick money rather than continuing their education and pursuing a meaningful career. This obstructs their development. Money is an important aspect of your job, but it is not everything. They should concentrate on grooming themselves for future success. If they are doing something significant, freshers will be paid well. Prioritize a relevant job over money.
2. Taking Up a Monotonous Job:
"Do something different every day," as someone once said. It is all about learning and growing in your career. If you keep doing the same thing, you will not progress. The first few years of your career should be spent exploring as much as possible. So, what are you holding out for? Get as much experience as possible. Investigate new areas. Explore new possibilities! Change is the only way to go.
3. Remaining In One's Comfort Zone:
Freshmen prefer to work in their comfort zone. This is the error they are making. While everyone prefers to be in their comfort zone, if you want to learn something new, you must challenge yourself every day! Doing something new will help you gain experience in a variety of fields. To be a manager, one must be an all-arounder. So throw out the monotonous work and try something new.
4. Overly Casual Approach:
Work-pressure, disinterest, personal problems, and a lack of dedication are all characteristics of the current generation. Freshmen are too casual about their work and give up too quickly. Feel accountable for the job at hand. Be enthusiastic about your field. You won't get everything on a silver platter.
5. "I know" Stage:
When you first start working, you go through a "I know" phase in which you believe you know everything. Avoid thinking in this manner. Problems arise when you believe you are smarter than everyone else. Always be humble and open to new experiences. It is never too late to learn. Always seek knowledge; this strategy will lead you to a win-win situation!
As a newcomer, you must reach your profession with humility. Concentrate on developing skills rather than making money. Your abilities will lead you down a long road to success. To succeed in life, strike the perfect mixture of excellent education and experience. The first couple years of your professional life are critical. It's all in your hands; make or break it!
